My Second Favorite Holiday Hello my lovely friends! Did you all have an amazing 4th of July weekend? I were all there to help with the move. They moved to an adorable suburb on the SW side called Burr Ridge. Anyways, my 4th was great minus the fact that Man Candy wasn’t with me.
He was fishing in Canada with his dad and grandpa! The weather was a weird overcast, but I was just happy to be outside! Whenever I am at my parent’s house it makes me want a dog SO BAD. Their yellow lab, Sasha, is literally me in dog form. She just wants to be loved at all times and is so needy and quirky. We took the pups on many walks along with a couple legit Summer Sweat Series workouts at a nearby park. I actually ended up getting a smoothie post-workout and it was my inspiration for this recipe.

I think our thought here is that you can sub a non-dairy yogurt! I love banana and chocolate combinations! Even though I am Paleo I still buy cows milk because the hubby loves it. And I can’t justify buying two different kinds of milk.
Plus, my father is a dairy farmer. However, I don’t know if I would have the patience in the morning to wait and layer my smoothie instead of just blending everything together. I wouldn’t buy Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Almondmilk because I live outside the US and it’s not sold here. Love smoothies This looks particularly good. Almond breeze is definitely the best almond milk! I felt kind of bad because I make my own almond milk!
