I had such an amazing time wwoofing at @bilstoncreekfarm this past month and a half! I've been wanting to do it for years but the opportunity never came, so I'm glad it worked out during the pandemic as it was not the best time to live in a van. I got to learn about harvesting lavender, making essential oils, packaging and bottling skin care products, woodworking, farming etc etc.

I was not a fan of lavender scent until then, but I have to say it kinda grew on me. If you're on vancouver island or looking for a place to host a wedding, it's definitely worth a visit! They often have pizza events too and now offer vegan pizza (which is delicious!) 🍕😛

I created this quick post workout meal using @vege

I created this quick post workout meal using @vegetariangourmet lentil & walnut patties (which are absolutely delicious btw!) with a homemade peanut sauce, rice and fresh veggies. This bowl has over 35g of plantbased protein.

The ingredients are all natural, which is something that's very important for me. It only took a few minutes to prepare, just take the patties out of the freezer and reheat them. Keep an eye on their posts and website for the recipe! Hope you guys enjoy as much as I did ☺️ #sponsored

It took a little while for me to start feeling comfortable in my unfinished van, but I'm no longer feeling like not having running water is a huge deal. I think getting a 12v fridge is a much bigger priority, but it might take a while for me to be able to afford paying 1500$ 😂 thanks covid!

PS I signed up for Matthew Kennedy's @foodfutureinstitute course I'm super pumped! Let's see how challenging it is in a van haha

I've been tweaking this recipe for years, this version is very rich & creamy and will leave your skin silky smooth. I've been using it daily for almost 5 years now. For my fellow van dwellers: you can totally make this in a van! Just use a fridge instead of a freezer and wait until it hardens.
